Season 1957–58 was the 81st football season in which Dumbarton competed at a Scottish national level, entering the Scottish Football League for the 51st time, the Scottish Cup for the 63rd time and the Scottish League Cup for the 11th time. == Overview == Dumbarton were to challenge for promotion from Division 2 for most of the season, but a disastrous run in the final five games, where only three points were taken, was to prove to be conclusive and in the end a fourth-place finish was achieved with 44 points, 11 behind champions Stirling Albion. In the Scottish Cup, Dumbarton received a tough first round draw and lost out to Clyde, who were to go on to win the cup final. In the League Cup, only two wins were achieved in the 6 sectional games, although a 10–3 win over Stranraer was a highlight. Finally Alloa were to be too much for Dumbarton to handle in the semi final of the Stirlingshire Cup. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「1957–58 Dumbarton F.C. season」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
